I am just about finished with "Gray Cavalier, The Life & Wars of General William HF Lee" by Mary Daughtry. It's not a bad Bio and I learned a lot about "Rooney" from it. Some flaws, people are suddenly introduced without any backround or descriptions.i.e. Fitzhugh Lee.Also would have liked to learn more about their personal relationship. It would have been helpful to have a little more information about ALL his sisters & brothers i.e when they were born, when they died, etc. Some of his military career detailed, some just glossed over. I found his early years most interesting. Over all I would say its a worthwhile effort and a sorely needed Bio of this excellent officer.
